2015 number one pick Jacob Weitering has been struggling for Carlton this season.
He’s so far been unable to replicate the form that saw him nominated for the Rising Star and in the 22under22 team in 2016, and Paul Roos had a left field suggestion to get him going again on the Sunday Rub today.
“I don’t mind the idea of… [putting] him on a wing,” Roosy said.
“What have you got to lose playing him on the wing?
“Tell him you have a wing slide, half forward comes up, you’re an intercept marker.”
Roosy’s comments came as part of a broader discussion about Jacob Weitering’s role.
