Triple M Footy’s Damian Barrett questioned the AFL’s decision to start an expansion team on the Gold Coast on the Saturday Rub.
Damo said that Gold Coast has “botched its eight years in the AFL” and that the AFL needs to think about how they can fix this “crisis”.
“Ultimately in eight years, this club has stuffed it up,” Damo said.
“I think now the AFL needs to revisit the reasons for going (to the Gold Coast), and what it is going to do on behalf of the competition to get this club out of it.”
“I do think think now we are in the crisis zone for this footy club.”
