AFL premiership ruckman Shane Mumford says he's "definitely" eyeing off a boxing match with NRL veteran Paul Gallen.
Mumford joined Triple M's Winter Breakfast fresh off his first ever boxing match last Friday night, and said stepping into the ring by himself was much different to what he'd experienced during his 172-game career.
He's been linked to a match with Cronulla Sharks veteran Gallen, who is undefeated across his boxing career, in a bout of the AFL and NRL veterans.
He says he's got some work to do to reach Gallen's level, but he's still keen to do it.
"That's certainly something we're looking at," he explained to Triple M.
"I've got a lot of work to do before then, but that is definitely something that I've got my eye on."
Whatever happens, Lehmo is definitely in Mumford's corner.
"You'll smash him, Mummy!" he laughed.
