Labor MP Emma Husar will not re-contest the next Federal election following the fall-out of allegations made against her concerning bullying and harassment.
According to a 9 News report, Ms Husar has cited the last three weeks of media scrutiny and allegations as damaging to her reputation.
She reportedly does not believe that she could hold the seat of Lindsay.
“It is an incredibly sad day for me. I have just derived immense pleasure from being able to represent my community, but enough is enough,” Ms Husar said.
